紅耳鵯 red-whiskered bulbul

今天在大會堂享受中午的陽光，老遠聽到洋紫荊樹雀雀鳥聲，趕忙看看是什麼傢伙。原來是兩隻紅耳鵯。不知道是父母孩子，還是伴侶關係，但覺牠們真得在依傍在交流。

this noon went to city hall to bask in the sun. suddenly caught some chirping from a nearby bauhinia tree, ran to check out what birds are there. turned out to be two bulbuls. one bigger one smaller. can’t tell whether they are parent-and-offspring or mates, but surely there is affection between them.

紅耳鵯是香港的留鳥，在市區和郊野都非常易見。喜歡小群出動。以果實和昆蟲為食物。red-whiskered bulbul is hong kong’s resident, and is common in tropical asia. they usually appear in small flocks and feed on fruits and insects. we can often seen in both the city and rural area.
