this winter-spring i frequent the wetland park. the main purpose is the migratory birds, but there are lot more to see – plants, insects and resident birds.
these are two of the birds i saw last saturday.
yellow-bellied prinia. this tiny bird owns one if not more skill, or should i say art. it meows. yes, it chirps like kitties. look how proud it stands on top of the reeds head.
at the mudflat, i was drawn by these fellas even though my intension was to catch some bigger migratory birds. there was a patch of plants looking like rice paddy. It turned the party land of these scaly-brested munia.
