lately i have been drawn by the pink mist of flowers along road sides and slopes of victoria road. it was a pleasant surprise to find out that i actually knew this plant before, but the imagery is so different that i did not connect.
i saw this woody climber almost every fruit season at wetland park. don’t know why i never come across its flowering season. therefore my impression on this plant is always pairs of divergent follicles and the fluffy feathery seeds.
then now around may it is its blossoming time. getting closer look, you will realize the little pink blossoms are pretty, many of them in terminal spreading panicles.
