【本城美樹 amazing trees in hong kong】華富邨華裕樓大葉榕 big-leaved fig in wah fu estate

can’t help adoring big old trees in older public housing estates. there are many of them but the quantity doesn’t dilute the presence and spirit they give out. tree planting and gardening in old housing estates is no-nonsense, practical and i believe is done with the sense of humanity. look at...

it is now flowering season of yellow poinciana. only at this time i realize there are quick many of them in this city. at other time, this plant is like an easy guy, hiding among the green. if you want to know more about this tree information wise. check my previous post.... 苦楝處處 china berry trees bloom time

chinaberry is common in this city and now is the high time of its blossoms. the flowers are very pretty but the colour is less fleshy and the fact that they are tiny and always come in quantity may blur the prettiness when looking the tree by far. yet you cannot... 長沙灣荔枝角道是條木棉道 a tree cotton path along lai chi kok road (cheung sha wan)

been exploring sham shui po and cheung sha wan recently. love the wide and spacious as well as calm along lai chi kok road. cheung sha wan abattoir that left vacant since 1999 is my favorite spot. it is a govt facility built in the 1960s but stop functioning in 1999. to...
