decades ago, incense tree or agarwood was just very common native tree, seen abundant in villages and the wild. but for the last decade or so, many if not every granny-grade incense tree in the rural areas or feng shui fall (back hill of villages) became the target of “incense thieves”. they are...

a casual afternoon in a city park. taking a moment at a pond, checking any creature interesting. saw this katydid resting nice and easy on a white waterlily. love the harmony of the colours in the shade of green and white. next moment, a big dragonfly flew by and hawking at...

drosera is one big genera of carnivorous plants, with over 190 species around the world known now. most of them are perennial herbaceous. it is commonly known as the sundews, vividly outline the outstanding feature of its leaves, the glistening drops of mucilage at the... 耳果相思的耳果 the fruit of earleaf acacia/earpod wattle

acacia is a very common planting species in hong kong. back in the 1970s formosa acacia was one of the top three species planting in our country parks as well as in the city. earleaf acacia shares the same family and genus with formosa acacia and it is also common...
