合歡 - 紅與黃 red and yellow albizzia in summer

these days walking along hillside and green areas, sometimes in parks, there are quite many red and yellow fluffs blossoming on tree tops, adding some tenderness and senses of romanticism to summer. both are from the pea family and mimosa genus and are natives to south-east asia and southern china.

this plant is blossoming away along roadside and hillside under hot bright summer sun. the bluish violet flower panicles look like small dancing fairies in tutu. it looks like a herbivore. this is actually a shrub or small tree i wrote here before. the low-lying posture deceives me while allowing me to...

third posts on water banyan. every early summer this native species blossoms away. little cream-coloured flowers cluster at nodes of the branches. these flower cones look really busy as different insects come visiting. butterflies suck into the nectar, including redbase jezebel (bottom photo).
