walk pass this silk floss tree every working day. been thinking of writing about it, but didn’t put into action. two almost three weeks on, luckily the tree is still blossoming. silk floss obviously enjoy a long boom time, which is lucky for me to catch the season. the... 長沙灣荔枝角道是條木棉道 a tree cotton path along lai chi kok road (cheung sha wan)

been exploring sham shui po and cheung sha wan recently. love the wide and spacious as well as calm along lai chi kok road. cheung sha wan abattoir that left vacant since 1999 is my favorite spot. it is a govt facility built in the 1960s but stop functioning in 1999. to...

many grey days lately, seems to reflect how this city is like. i cannot complain, spring here is supposed to be like this, overcast or foggy, air is saturated with moisture and shades. but while i thought winter was away, as daylight starts to crack as early as 6ish in the... 土沉香果 fruit of agar wood [速寫 sketch]

中國珍稀瀕危植物土沉香在香港的現況 (2005年4月15日)《香港植物標本室》 i posted on agar wood blossoms back in may. last week i went to the same area where the trees are at and found a few fruits.i guess it has passed the prime fruiting time, therefore the small number of fruit. it is still fascinating to find the fruit fits the exact description:  “the...
