白鶴 siberian crane

過去星期六幸運地有機會隨資深鳥友到米埔去，行前更獲通報，最近米埔巧逢稀客白鶴。

入米埔經已覺得是珍貴機會，期間遇到兩隻白鶴騰飛，匆忙間拍到遠飛的倩影，已感超額完滿。

一些同行朋友走得快和前的，其實有較近距離的地面觀察，兩隻白鶴其中有幼鳥。

白鶴在香港之所以是稀客，一來這物種是極危，二來牠們的冬季遷徙路線香港不是停留站。

親眼觀察白鶴飛翔，深深感受這水鳥的美和大型。不深究鳥分類的朋友，在香港看到各類鷺鳥，總以為牠們是鶴。實在，鷺和鶴的分野非常大。

last saturday, got the chance to follow few veteran bird lovers to maipo. the migratory birding season has started and yet to enter the busiest time. but one news set birding enthusiasts very excited – people spotted siberian cranes at maipo.

why so excited? first thing, siberian crane is critically endangered. adding to that hong kong is not really along the path of their migratory path.

i had the luck to see the pair. but only very briefly. according to others, it is an adult and a juvenile. i saw many photos of close observation of the duo. my photo captures however are only at very long distance (apologize).
